Cherry Studio Free API: Add FreeTheAI as a Provider
Cherry Studio adds FreeTheAI as an OpenAI-type model service. Enter the root address; Cherry adds /v1 itself.

- Check in once a day to unlock the free models. Daily check-in
- Pick a model ID from the models page. Browse models

Steps
Add the provider
Open Settings, then Model Services, and press + Add. Name it FreeTheAI and choose the OpenAI type.
Enter the address and key
Enter the root address https://api.freetheai.org and your key. Cherry Studio adds /v1 automatically; do not end the address with #.
Add models and enable
Use Manage to fetch models (or add an ID by hand), run the check, then turn on the switch at the top right.

Troubleshooting
Should I enter /v1 in Cherry Studio?
No. Enter https://api.freetheai.org and Cherry Studio adds /v1. Entering /v1 as well can produce /v1/v1.
Common errors
- 401: the key is wrong or incomplete. Paste the whole key.
- 403: check in for today, or confirm your email.
- 404: the model ID or URL is wrong.
- 429: daily limit reached, or too many requests at once.
